Margaret Hannah6 Whitney (Josiah5, John4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), daughter of Josiah5 and Hannah (Turner) Whitney, was born born say 1775, possibly in Plymouth, MA, and died 20 Apr 1849, Malbaie, Gaspe, QC.

She married, before 1793, William Samuel Lucas, son of Abiel and Deziah (Sturtivant) Lucas of Plympton and Plymouth, MA, and Gaspe, Lower Canada (now Quebec). He was born say 1767, Plymouth, MA, and died 31 Aug 1817, Quebec, QC.

He was a master and owner of a schooner which sailed between Gaspe and Quebec City. He Samuel died August 31, 1817 on his schooner while on his run between Gaspe and Quebec City.

iii. Abel Lucas, b. 1797, Malbaie, Gaspe, QC.
iv. Martha Lucas, b. 8 Aug 1806, Malbaie, Gaspe, QC; d. 22 Jun 1888, Malbaie, Gaspe, QC; m. 1827, New Carlisle, Gaspe, QC, William Stanley.
v. George Lucas, b. 1809, Lobster Bay, Gaspe, QC.
