William Greenlaw7 Whitney (Enoch6, Moses5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Enoch6 and Hannah (Newcomb) Whitney, was born 4 Aug 1812, Gorham, ME or Harrison, ME,[1] and died 9 Mar 1875, Lee, ME.[2]
Marriage intentions were published in Lee, ME, and in Springfield, ME, 8 Sep 1834, for him and Agnes Smith. He "of Lee" married, 28 Dec 1834, Dresden, ME, Agnes Pennel Smith,[3] daughter of Joseph and Martha (Robinson) Smith. She was born 13 Apr 1811, Dresden, ME,[4] and died 19 Apr 1893, Lee, ME.
He resided Lee, ME in the censuses of 1850, 1860 and 1870, where he was a farmer.
