Ralph Taylor8 Whitney (John Drury7, Ebenezer6, (Micah5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of John Drury7 and Eldusty (Peary) Whitney, was born 2 May 1890, Franklin, MA, and died 2 Jul 1954, Camarillo, Ventura Co., California.
He married 12 03 1919, Columbus, Muscogee Co., Georgia, Myrtle Rockwood Grant. She was born 04 28 1887, North Bellingham, MA, and died 20 Feb 1965, Encinitas, California.
Ralph was a veteran of World War I. He was a Musician First Class with the 29th Infantry Band and Orchestra, which was based in Panama during the war. After his military service he became a linotype operator, and worked for several printing businesses in Massachusetts and California. He and his family resided in Franklin and Wollaston, MA, and in Bell, CA. Ralph and Myrtle had two sons, one of whom still survives [in 2009].
