Abiezer Holbrook6 Whitney (Nathan5, Benjamin4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Nathan5 and Sarah (Godfrey) Whitney, was born 29 Mar 1794, Lisbon (or 21 Mar 1794, Lisbon, as recorded in Bowdoin[1]), ME, and died 17 Jul 1865, New Orleans, LA (but -- --- 1864, New Orleans, a millwright, as recorded in Bowdoin, ME).[2]

He married firstly, 15 Nov 1816, Litchfield, ME (also recorded in Bowdoin, ME, without a date),[3] Elizabeth White, daughter of Isaac and Martha (Owen) White. She was born 21 Oct 1794, Bowdoin, ME,[4] and "Betsey" died 2 Jul 1841, Augusta, ME, aged 46 years (also recorded in Bowdoin, ME, as -- --- 1840).[5] She was buried in Wall Cemetery, Augusta, ME.[6]

He married secondly, -- --- ----, Bowdoin, ME, Mrs. Susan Yeaton or Eaton "of China" [7] of Hallowell and/or China, ME.
