He married firstly, 23 Nov 1870, Weyauwega, WI, Jane A. Puffer, daughter of Simon and Adaline G. (Dickenson) Puffer. She was born about 1846, NY, and died 1877.

He married secondly, 10 Apr 1878, Weyauwega, WI, Louise M. Schultz, daughter of Henry and Barbara (Lenthold) Schultz. She was born Apr 1862, IA, and died after 1920.

He was a drayman; resided Weyauwega, WI.
