Josiah4 Whitney (Josiah3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Josiah3 and Mary (----) Whitney was born 21 Feb 1698 at Wrentham, MA[1] and died 17 Nov 1748 at Wrentham, MA, at age 50[2], aged 51 years.
Josiah maaried Elizabeth Grant, daughter of Caleb and Elizabeth (Jackson) Grant, 28 Feb 1725/26 at Weston, MA; wife "of Concord", husband "formerly of Dedham, now of Weston;", first wife.
Josiah married Elizabeth Whitney, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Baker) Whitney, 24 Apr 1733 at Lancaster, MA, second wife.
He aged about 20 in 1718 at Wrentham, MA.
Elizabeth Grant was born in 1707 at Concord, MA. She was baptized on 11 Dec 1709 at Weston, MA; aged 2 years. She died before 1737 at CT.
There were no children of Josiah4 and Elizabeth (Grant) Whitney.
Elizabeth Whitney was born circa 1712. She parentage uncertain, but conjectured as shown.

i. Elizabeth5 Whitney, baptized 13 Jul 1735 at Weston, MA.
