p. 64, #669: Persis5 WHITNEY married, 13 Sep 1768, Upton, MA, Joseph LESUER of Upton, according to Upton vital records.
p. 64, #225: Ezekiel4 WHITNEY and Jennet PATTERSON of Mendon published their intentions of marriage 31 Mar 1743, Uxbridge, MA, according to Uxbridge vital records. There were two additional children who died young:
- Jennet, born 4 Sep 1746, Sutton, MA.
- Margaret, born 7 Jul 1748, Sutton, MA.
They should be inserted as the second and third children.
p. 64, #671: Susannah5 WHITNEY was born 24 Jul 1745, Sutton, MA, according to Sutton vital records. She married, 3 Mar 1768, Palmer, MA, John LOVE, according to Palmer vital records. No record of children has been found.
p. 64, #672: Jennet5 WHITNEY was baptized 10 Sep 1749, Uxbridge, MA, according to Uxbridge vital records.
p. 64, #673: Margaret5 WHITNEY was born 8 Jul 1751, Sutton, MA, according to Sutton vital records.
p. 64, #674: Rachel5 WHITNEY has not been seen by me in any other record. If she existed, she must have died young, as neither she nor her heirs are mentioned in her father's probate.
p. 64, #231: Benjamin WHITNEY was Benjamin5 WHITNEY [Joshua4, Joshua3, Benjamin2, John1]. He may be the one who married, 4 Apr 1775, Westborough, MA, Esther HIGGINS, who is otherwise unidentified. If so, no record of children has been found.
p. 64, #237: Jason4 WHITNEY was born in Hopkinton, not Natick, MA, according to Hopkinton vital records. Ebenezer FISHER was born in Dedham, but resided in Needham. There were additional children born in Natick:
- Rachel, born 20 Mar 1759, died -- Apr 1759, Natick, MA.
- Jason, born 31 Jul 1768, died before 20 Oct 1780.
