Family:Whitney, Albert (1832-1910)
Albert8 Whitney (Christopher7, Abraham6, Abraham5, Abraham4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Christopher7 and Dolly (Brooks) Whitney, was born 12 Sep 1832, Stow, MA,[1] and died 6 Dec 1910, Lynn, MA, aged 78 years 6 months [sic], of myocarditis.[2]
He married, before 1863, Maria Jane Tracy, daughter of George and Melissa (Olds) Tracy. She was born 2 Feb 1835, Canterbury or Scotland, CT, and died 22 Sep 1897, Lynn, MA, aged 62 years 7 months, of cancer.[3]
Both are buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, MA.
He served in Co. L, 4th Massachusetts Heavy Artillery, in the Civil War.
