Chauncey Parker⁶ Whitney (Joshua⁵, Joshua⁴, Cornelius³, Joshua², John¹), son of Joshua⁵ and Phebe (Parker) Whitney, was born 11 Feb 1789, Granville, NY, and died 18 Apr 1864, Livonia, NY. He was buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery, South Livonia, NY.^[1]

He married firstly, 10 Mar 1811, Sally Edson, daughter of Col. Josiah and Sarah (Pinney) Edson. She was born 28 Oct 1788, Randolph, VT, and died 6 Jun 1827, Livonia, NY. She was buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery, South Livonia, NY.^[2]

He married secondly, before 1850, Harriet [?Abbey?]. She was born about 1798 or 1801, Richmond, NY, and died 11 Jul 1861, Livonia, NY. She was buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery, South Livonia, NY.^[3] Possibly he was the Chauncey Whitney who married, 19 Oct 1834, Oakland Co., MI, Harriet Abba, although no record has been found that this Chauncey was ever in Michigan.

They resided Aurelius and Livonia, NY.
