Joshua⁵ Whitney (Joshua⁴, Joshua³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Joshua⁴ and Phebe (--?--) Whitney,^[1] was born 27 Feb 1738/39, Uxbridge, MA,^[2]

He married 29 Oct 1765 at Medway, MA^[3] Jemima Clark, first wife. He married 28 Oct 1779 at Medway, MA^[4] Keziah Hobbs, second wife.

Jemima Clark was born circa 1745 at poss. Medway, MA. She died on 22 Nov 1778 at Medway, MA.^[5]

i.	Simeon Whitney6, b. 29 Aug 1766, m. 13 Aug 1792 at Boston, MA[6] or before 22 Jan 1793[7] to Achsah Leland, daughter of Joseph Leland and Abigail Howard,
ii.	Joshua Whitney, b. 25 Jan 1769 at Medfield, MA[8]; baptized 23 Apr 1769[9]; d. 26 Feb 1779 at Medway, MA[10], at age 9.
iii.	Silas Whitney, b. b. 20 Mar 1771, m. 16 Mar 1791 at Medway, MA to Tryphena Lane[11], daughter of Zephaniah Lane and Hannah Pond
iv.	Adah Whitney, b. 16 May 1774; [sic]; d. 16 May 1773 at Medway, MA; [sic]. She was also known as Adah Lane twin.
v.	Nabby Whitney, b. 16 May 1774; [sic]; d. 16 May 1773 at Medway, MA; [sic].
vi.	Priscilla Whitney, b. 10 Nov 1776; [sic], baptized 12 Nov 1775 at Medway, MA[sic].

Keziah Hobbs was born circa 1742; calculated from age (78) at her death in 1820. She died on 15 Apr 1820 at Medway, MA^[12]; in her 78th year.
